Pandora opening date prediction

I already put out my predictions (Jan 2, 2017, Jan 6, 2017) based on the R&CAODPM, but I really think they plan to have it finished by October 31, 2016 unless they run into delays.

That is the date that is on all the "Morpho" NOCs I have seen. On the other hand, the NOCs for several DAK expansion construction trailers expire somewhere like the end of February 2017.

Let's look at some comparison photos for 19 months out at Expedition Everest construction and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Construction:

Expedition Everest Soft opened in early January 2006. Here's a photo from mid May 2004. The mountain isn't topped out, but there is track inside:

Mine train opened in late May 2014, I don't have any photos of Mine Train from October 2012, but here's a photo from January 2013:

This is from September 2012:

Thanks, the eye test tells me that October 31st, 2016 is entirely possible, but a whole land is larger than a single attraction. Perhaps @Tom can judge better?

The big variable is how ambitious they are going to get with the bio-luminescent theming. This is something they haven't really done before and could really add to the construction time.

They appear to be moving at a faster pace than some recent projects...namely 7DMT. But, they have the benefit of not actually working inside an active theme park. Full access from outside, and very few work restrictions.

Given that, based on Tim's comparisons, sure, it could be done in 18 months. But I fear the first-of-its-kind rockwork and the integrated technology/concrete work is going to throw them some curve balls. Really hard to predict, having never seen anything built like this before.

Well, I do hope it is open early enough so when we visit in June 2017 it won't be as crowded, granted I know there will still be crowds but better than the opening month crowds

Hopefully they will open the whole land up at the same time. I keep hearing they might open in stages which I think is a mistake. New Fantasy Land should give them feedback about the impact of opening in stages and yes, the land is all by itself and they aren't trying to build around other attractions.
