They might so something small at park opening but the big stuff will happen for the media on the 24th.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm planning on going to the official opening to all guests on May 27th, and I was hoping for some type of ceremony. It's too bad they won't do the large ceremony when guests can watch it. It sounds like the event on the 24th is for media only.

That's true. I'd just love to see all of those people in person when I'm there Saturday. Oh well. . I'm still excited though!

Looks like there was some miscommunication between Cameron announcing the place open and then the ACE tour company guy coming onstage. Audio cut out where it sounded like Iger and Cameron were talking to each other off-mic.

I think it was an hour early because of the weather forecast. It looked like it didn't go as originally planned. The host mentioned the actors earlier and then the feed ended when they finally got on stage.

I heard that the nighttime illumination effects were dialed back significantly for the soft opening and they were going to run with it full force for the media tonight. Anyone have the link to the nighttime live stream?
