Hey All,
I will be attempting to book Palo for my upcoming trip. This will be my first attempt at Palo on my second Disney Cruise. With that said, I'd like everyone's advice or input. This is a three night cruise, and all things being equal, what night would you choose and why? We don't have kids and are flexible.
Would you take it on the first night because there is nothing going on? Would it be the last night on the ship just cause its the last night. Any info and opinions are appreciated. Thanks.

With a three night its difficult as you will miss something, I would say go for the middle night but try to avoid missing animators palate by putting in a request for a dinner rotation that say starts with AP, There is a show in there which is very good. First night you meet your servers, and last night you tip them, so i would go for the middle night.
Another option is a double dip, and go to the MDR at 6pm and eat light and then eat at Palo at 8pm. The one to drop is Enchanted Garden, so its more about rotation than night.

My wife and I aren't too worried about missing Enchanted Garden. I know you can attempt to move your rotation around if you have a good excuse. We enjoyed AP on our last cruise on the Dream and want to see it again. The middle night is not a bad option for the reasons (meet the servers) you mentioned. I'll take it under advisement. Anyone else care to chime in?...I'm all ears.....although that's a different website.

You can call and request they book a certain rotation around your palo reservation....we did palo the 3rd night and remy on captain's night and all worked out real well with an animator's palate heavy rotation...

don't do Palo on pirate night unless you do it early. For some reason we have picked Palo night on pirate night twice and have been waaay too full for the pirate buffet. Also, we have never had a problem switching our Palo or dining rotation once we got on board. I believe they hold a certain amount of ressies for boarding day. We always go there first and get that taken care of because it is fist come first serve.

How do you go about requesting a dinner rotation?
