Get the new one it is much more fun and has all the up to date info. I love my Pal Mickey it is lots of fun the new one has more to say so you don't have to listen to the same thing over and over again. Plus if you go to WDW.com you can play a little game to get a Pal Mickey pin when you buy a Pal Mickey.

Actually, the game is no longer on disneyworld.com - it stopped being available on September 30th. However, if you played the game prior to that and printed the coupon for the free pin, you can still redeem it until September 2006.

I personally really enjoyed my Pal Mickey 1.0. I want to get the new edition as well but I haven't had the cash.

With everything else you're spending on a WDW, a new Pal Mickey is not that much more and well worth.
We have both versions and many things are the same, but still money well spent, because Pal Mickey is a lot of fun to have with treking about the parks.
Plus, the jokes are real side-splitting killers - lots of fun!

I always have a blast with my Pal. Its so much fun walking around the parks with him listening to his information. Especially in AK where he tells you about a lot of the different wildlife. I would definitely suggest getting him.

If you look at all the pics of me at the parks from my last trip, he's in every one of them LOL.
