Pal Mickey question

Hi All......

I read somewhere that Pal Mickey has to be "programmed" at one of several locations in each park. Is this true?

I paid $10 extra and ordered my Mickey in advance so I wouldn't have to run around looking for him before I went to a park.

If I have to (instead) run around trying to find a place to get him programmed that will make me :zipit:

I read that Mickey automatically programs himself when you walk through the turnstiles, so what gives?

No, you don't have to run around reprogramming him in every park. After you pass through the turnstyles he senses where he is and then begins to give you information pertaining to that park. Someone else here can probably explain it better than that. :lol:

Anyway, I have one and I never had a problem with him not knowing where he was. He was always very accurate. Also, he's fairly common in the parks now. I didn't have a problem finding one.

What is this Pal Mickey thing?

I don't have one, don't know what it is, have never seen one and now I want one.

And I thought my wife was a marketing sucker...

Seriously what is it?
