Pal Mickey Is he worth it?

Yes and the HCOE edition (the new one they began selling in April) is $65. Available almost everywhere.

He is absolutely worth it. I bought mine on my last day cause I had a coupon to get a free pin (w/purchase of a Pal) at the Main Street store and Magic Kingdom was on our last day. But I bought him first thing and I had a blast with him the whole day. Wish I would have had him at the other parks but he'll be coming back with me in November. Currently, he's sitting with the rest of my Disney Collection eagerly waiting for our return to the Happiest Place on Earth.

Heres a pic of me, Robin Hood and my Pal...

I'm so sad I missed out on the pin. :( I just haven't had the money to go to WDW lately let alone buy the HCOE edition Pal.

Pal Mickey

We purchased the Special Edition Pal Mickey for our daughter on our last trip to WDW in August. It cost $70.

We thought it was worth the price. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Pal Mickey gives you tidbits of information while you are walking through the parks (he vibrates and you have to press his hand or tummy in order for him to talk to you). A couple of times he told us that certain rides had no wait time (we decided to check it out) and we walked right onto those rides.

We were in MGM and decided to ride Tower of Terror. After getting off the ride, Pal Mickey started to vibrate. When my daughter pressed his hand he said "Hey Pal, next time I think we should take the stairs."

When you are not in the parks you can play trivia games with Pal Mickey.

Honestly I kinda wish that I would have just gone ahead and bought my Pal my first day so that I could enjoy him instead of waiting to get the pin. Its nice but I think I would have enjoyed my Pal at the other parks more. Oh well. I'll get to play with him when I return in November. I did buy the HCOE Mickey Light Up Pin. I have it on my cork board and whenever i'm laying in bed I can grab my pal and light it up :)

My family says that they don't need to buy a Pal Mickey because I know just as much if not more. They say that I'm their own personaly Pal Mickey. My brother says that I'm going to end up in a fight with Pal Mickey.

Do you also vibrate and tell bad jokes when I press your tummy?

The only reason I would ever get it is because, If I ever missed disney world while I was home, I would squeeze his little hand, and tell me all of the disney world "news"!

I don't know if I would have paid full price, but the 16 I paid at the outlet is worth it!

As far as knowing as much as Pal - I am most likely in that boat to, but I can't vibrate and tell people when there is no wait time! That makes it worth the 16 bucks alone.

Personally its not worth the 65 dollars...at all...he doesn't give you any important information. Just corny jokes, I was completely disapointed in my Pal Mickey. During our 5 day trip not once did Mickey give us a ride wait time, or tell us about a parade as advertised. Save your money and pick up a guidebook, or chances are you know more than Mickey will ever tell you.

When your not at the park he tells you WDW news? I live in New York, will he tell me the WDW news there. I saw some one is Mass. Said they get the news were by they are?

I think it's a cute idea, but I will not pay $70 dollars for corny jokes.

I don't know about my pal Mickey giving you the news but he will tell you cute jokes when he is away from the park or even when you are at the park. I have the first edition of my pal Mickey and love it. When I was there in May 2005 I did not have enough money to buy the second edition but I will be back on Oct 21 to buy one. My pal Mickey will tell you when you can meet a character and when a parade was going to start. It would also tell me where would be the best area to view the parade. I give you facts about things you could find in the park and history which I love. It will also tell you where you can find a hidden Mickey, not the location but it will tell you look around this area for a hidden Mickey. I believe he is well worth it and the price is not bad.
