Pal Mickey 2.0

I dont own a pal mickey but I work with computers alot and I can tell you that if disney wanted to make mickey 1.0 update they could do it with the nose. Its just a case of programming and when they reset him having the new line of code for recieving updates in that reset. But if you ask me would they do it the answer would be a big HECK NO 2.0 makes it where people have to purchase a new one if they want the updated information. My other question would be if they program all the new attractions into PAL then could someone figure out a way to trigger them and get pal to list them all? Where theres a will, theres a way.

This is, you realize, an old thread. Seeing as 2.0 is finishing and the new Sorcerer Mickey version is now being released.

Pal's a hard coded system. He can not get new updates because his infra-red receiver is a one-way system. It can't re-write his internal programming.

Short of tearing him apart and trying to hack him, he is what he is from the time that you buy him and that's all he can ever say.

yeah just noticed the date on the last thread for some reason it was on the main page and I had never seen it before so I thought it was something new. Anyways with every new version they release they can change anything but like I said its not worth it in the long run business wise.
