Don't know if anyone is into it. It is very addictive. I am looking for a new gun and equipment. Already know to get a DYE Invision mask. Other than that I am open to suggestions, and stories.
My ds is really into it with his friends. Boy this is a real expensive hobby for me to support. He just got a new gun for christmas and now wants another one. He goes to an indoor place and now with the nice weather will switch to outdoor for the summer probably. They are having a big game for 2 days in may, He might go to some of that. He is on a lot of the paintball websites. My head spins with all these terms, angels, jts, armor etc. All I know is the pocketbook needs to be pretty big for these interests. The indoor place he goes now will only let you bring your own paint 1 day a week that they designate. Of course its not on the week ends, but school days. etc.
I don't know what ds stands for, but I can help you understand the paintball (PB) terms if you want. And if he plans to buy a new gun I might pick his up depending on how much, make, model, and any accessories involved with the sale.
Angel is a gun, glove, and pant maker. Their gun is the most expensive at 2,000 tops.
Jt is a clothing and accessory company mostly.
And yes it is a very expensive hobby, most people never break even with what they pay to play.
I'm a textbook paintball addict. I've been playing for 8 years now, though I've never been interested in the tournament scene. I actually ran a field for 3 years in college, and spend a good chunk of my time tinkering and building things for my 9 guns. Maybe one day I'll be able to be at the Wide World of Sports when the World Cup is being held.
