Paid Deposit - possible increase?

I have booked our family vacay for next August!! So excited!! :sohappy:
I have only put a deposit down on the trip and was given the disclaimer that Disney reserves the right to increase the price until the trip is paid in full.
I am wondering if anyone has ever had this happen, that Disney actually does increase the price of the vacation?:shrug:

The only time I have seen this happen since 1997 was when the hotel tax increased, so Disney was just passing on that cost to the guest.

Once the prices are released for the next year, they won't change the cost of the room. Disney needs to cover itself in a just in case situation. Also, since the same disclaimer is used for all reservations, those that are made very far in advance (the 499 day room only reservations that don't have a price guarantee) can have their prices changed.

OOO you do not have to worry about a thing!!! It will be fine. Disney wont do that to you. I have booked like that many times and remembering..."wow im glad I booked early!!"

I always book our vacations 8 or 9 months out and I've never had Disney increase my package price.
