Padholes in the parks

OK, so technically not WDW as I got back from Paris yesterday but I'm sure there are a few people who can relate to my frustration. Every time I saw a padhole (including my own dad) I took a picture. I may even start a FB group to raise awareness of this socially inept species.

Camcorder view screens came first, and once they did away with single-eye viewfinders, we were stuck with them. I make an effort to hold my camcorder as close to my body as possible during nighttime shows, and I use it sparingly, if at all, in dark indoor performances.

Tablet screens are much much worse. I wouldn't be surprised if the "no flash, no video lights" spiel is appended with a no tablet camera rule.

When I visited WDW in 2011 these people were everywhere, extremely frustrating when you are stuck behind them and have to watch the show through their screen. Funnily enough I went to Disneyland Paris a few months ago and didn't see a single one.

This pad has a slide out keyboard...why on earth does he have it slid out blocking even more of the view from behind?

PADHOLE!

Great topic. This is the better title but if you want more on the same topic it is over on..."Bringing technology in the Parks" thread.

I wonder how many people here actually HAVE done this and have shamefully hidden their iPad/tablet pics in a private folder somewhere on their comp...ROFL

I don't think people realize how obnoxious they're being when they do it. I don't think it's intentional...then they get back here and realize they're right at the top of the list for some of the most obnoxious people in the parks!

*Raises hand* I've done it. It wasn't at the parks, it was at a zoo. I have an excuse though; my real camera was broken.

Uh, I mean... How shameful of them! Who would ever dare to do something so atrociously terrible?

Hide it! And then tell your person (whoever you have set to clear the history on your comp if you die), to erase that too, so the world may never know! ;) haha
