Packing essentials...

So it's finally here! We leave for WDW in the morning and I'm doing the last of my packing. I am wondering what things you all pack that someone might not necessarily think of when it comes to a trip. I have the costumes, clothes, meds, tickets, confirmation numbers, water, glow sticks, camera... I just don't want to forget anything!

So it's finally here! We leave for WDW in the morning and I'm doing the last of my packing. I am wondering what things you all pack that someone might not necessarily think of when it comes to a trip. I have the costumes, clothes, meds, tickets, confirmation numbers, water, glow sticks, camera... I just don't want to forget anything!

Have a great trip! I have a very detailed long list but it might send you into panic mode since you leave in the a.m. I'm sure you have everything you need! Bath suits? Chargers? Autograph book? You can buy almost everything you need there if you forget anything!

Extra shoes? Make sure memory cards are in the cameras. Pocket/purse size notebook and pen. Toll booth change.

Yup, have those things. Have ponchos and lip balm, hair bows and shoes for kids... I just packed it all into the rental so all I have to do in the morning is grab toiletries and we will be good to go! I'm so excited!!!

Good idea about the memory card. I think I will bring an extra. And change! I actually didn't think about tolls but I have a roll of quarters because we're going to make some pressed pennies so I can use a few of those. Thanks!

Sounds like you are all set then!! Driving down? So do you have movies or music to listen to in the car? Or any Disney bags to keep the kids entertained and excited on the trip down?

Don't forget a small, basic first aid kit - band aids, neosporin, ibuprofen, etc. We brought one last year, and it worked out great. Can't be too prepared!

I've said this in other threads, but I always pack a roll of my toilet paper from home. I'm a little particular about that item, and I've never found a hotel TP that's of the quality that I like.

Don't forget a small, basic first aid kit - band aids, neosporin, ibuprofen, etc. We brought one last year, and it worked out great. Can't be too prepared!

Small siccors and duct tape and any tools for small car repairs

Ziploc bags. Great for your camera on those wet rides. A small size sunblock and sunblock stick. Have a great vacation!

We also bought cheap rain ponchos at our local grocery store for under $1 each - much better than buying them in WDW. They're prefect for those surprise Florida showers or wet rides.

I've said it before, clothes pins to hang bathing suit off of the line in shower.

I like to bring a box of individually-wrapped hand sanitizing wipes. (I keep it in the room, throw a few in my park bag each day and replenish as needed). They're great for "washing up" before/after counter service meals or when having snacks on the plane, cleaning up skinned knees and other park boo-boos, and giving the oft-touched surfaces in your hotel room a quickie wipe-down when you first check in.
