Packing Blues

Well,

My trip is about a week and a half away...

I've got the tickets, the ressies, the little yellow envelope with everything in it from Disney.. and now I'm trying to pull my pesonal stuff together.. what ought I bring?

The basics I have planned:

No hassle park hopping outfits
Sneakers and socks (I swore off sandals after my last trip)
Toiletries
Jacket/Raincoat
Sunscreen
Cell Phone & Car Charger

Not so basics:

"Cute" outfit for possible trip to PI
Stuffed animals for Mousekeeping

And I dunno what else :( I'm drawing a blank, but I know i'm forgetting something... Any other "fun" stuff I ought to bring along? Change for the press machines? A costume for MNSSHP? Help!!!

I'm contemplating this.. The one i actually bought I hate with a passion, it keeps giving me problems.

So, i'm thinkin I'll go the disposable route.. not exactly "cool" or anything, but do i really want pics?

I'm not really a picture person.. PLus, i'm a terrible photographer..

HOPE IT IS NOT TOOOOOOO BUSY. LAST YEAR IT WAS SO BAD THERE WAS A LINE AT PIRATES!! AND
"NO" E-RIDE NIGHTS!! ;(

MAYBE WE WILL PASS EACH OTHER IN THE PARK?? STAYING UNTIL SUN THE 13TH.

Do not worry leaving tomorrow, for WDW, so you will not have to read my posts--- for a week :wave:

ever think of buying a digital ? a digital and a photo printer that you jut plug the camera into and out come your pictures, no computer needed.

I think i'll bring a bathing suit, but has yet to be a hat created that doesn't make my head look funny shaped.. perhaps it's just funny shaped though :(

I'm allowed to gon vacation every once in a while too :)

Actually, it's a friend's belarted B-day celebration of sorts. We're going to WDW, staying on property (something none of us has ever done cuz Disney is usually a "day trip" for us) and then going to MNSSHP the first night.

I guess it goes this way.. Sure, I may not want to get on my own attraction, for sake of avoiding hearing that song one more time ;) But, a big but, I never see the rest of WDW like the Magic Kingdom or MGM or Animal Kingdom. I see it about as often as any other close-by Disney fanatic, if not less - once every few months or so :)

Not to mention none of my friends who are going are CM's, heck one of them has never been to WDW before.

So, though i'm not flying across country, it is a little vacation for me :) I'm excited :) I've never gotten to "do" Disney the way everyone else has - staying at a resort, using Disney transportation, doing a "Special Event," making reservations and priority seatings...

A rule about Disney, when you're not in costume on-stage, you're a guest. Doesn't matter who you are, where you're from, to everyone unless you have a nametag on, you're a guest. I don't get to be a guest too often, so i'm trying to plan so i can enjoy it best ;)

It's an old expression. "n.: a holiday (vacation) spent in following or observing the practice of one's usual occupation."

Nowadays it's usually used to mean going to your place of employment as a customer or guest.

And I just finished looking it up myself and found a nifty website about an old UK gameshow involving contestants winning trips to exotic places they'd have to work.

1st aid kit, comprising- wallet, credit cards, travellers cheques Disney Club card discount coupons insurance certificate, oh and the odd sticking plaster. with that you can obtain anything you forgot:)
