i check to flights this morning from edmonton canada to orlando. i was like oh 595.

thats so cheap..

i go back later the afternoon to book BAM 930 -_-

OUCH!! Keep checking and hopefully that was just a fluke. We had the same thing happen to us. Friday afternoon $430....Monday morning $613. I bit the bullet and just booked it for fear that it would continue to climb. Hope things work out fer ya!:wave:

That's awful! I don't understand it, though. We fly out of Boston (a further distance than you) and the roundtrips we booked on Monday were $300.

Yup...changes every second (and I do mean second) the last time I checked rates it said $621 and clicked on that rate and immediately it switched to the booking page where it said "The rate of $631 is no longer available. Your current rate is $818"

Add the airport fees, fuel taxes, service charges etc and that's $1221 for a return flight Halifax-Orlando.

So if the $930 is the total after all the fees...TAKE IT!!! By the next time you check you'll be around $1200

Since they only offer a very limited number of seats for those "cheaper" fares, I think you were a victim of your own waiting. My guess is that the 4(or whatever number) tickets offered at that price were snatched up by someone. I've seen it happen many times. Did you try the looking at the day after or the day before for that price?

Basically be ready to pull the trigger if you see a great price.

that happened to me, we booked for the dec. 7 to the 13 and I really wanted to go the week before. The air from new york was almost $1,100 for me and my wife that week, so we booked for the 7th to the 13th. Today I check and the air is now a little under $500, that ruined my good mood for the day.

i have shopping airfare for a few months now and it does fluctuate. There is something about your cookies that it stores recent quotes. Keep checking back or try from your work computer. mine has ranged between 316-480. I am buying the 316 (with luck!) on Fri with my bonus.
