Own the Magic?

Merry Christmas all!
So, have any of you Disney fans ever ordered anything from Own The Magic?

I placed an order Tuesday (12/20) really hoping that it would get here to PA just in time for Christmas. They money was charged to my card right away and a message saying I would get a shipping notification email. As of yet...no email! Don't get me wrong, I realize today is Christmas, but I would have thought that sometime Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday the item might have actually been shipped. No big deal that it didn't make it under the tree (I put a picture of the item in a box instead), but I'm worried about the order in general.

On the web site, the only method of contact is email...no phone number. I did send a message.

Have any of you ever ordered from Own the Magic? Do I have any need for concern?:shrug:

I have ordered from them before. I think that I remember that it did take longer than I thought it would but my items did come. They were also in great condition when they arrived. I would order from then again, especially if they had Beach Club comforters, without concern.

Two weeks now...and still no indication that my item has shipped! I know only one or two of you replied to my question, but do either of you have any additional information about this site (perhaps from a previous order???)

Moderators...I found this site when they had an advertisement banner on the WDWMagic site some time ago. Do you have any additional contact information? So far, they have not replied to my email inquiry.:shrug:

I really want the item and don't want to cancel, but I'm beginning to wonder if I shouldn't file a dispute with paypal!

Help....please!

Wow, I would be pretty ticked off by now. If you "want the item" more than you want it by a particular time, I would see what PayPal's deadline is for filing a claim, and maybe wait it out just a little bit longer but obviously not extend into that deadline.

There's no excuse for such horrible (non-existant) customer service, especially in an already horrible economy.

Moreover, the fact that you found the advertisement link (of a business that's not very good at doing business) on this site should serve to alert the admins as to who they allow adverts from.

Seems very unusual that you've had no confirmation from them. I personally have ordered many things online (not any from this company however) and sometimes the item comes even without confirmation and after a long time. Maybe wait it out and if not, file a claim.

If you have no conformation or email reply within 21 days of an order file a complaint with paypal. If you wait too long paypal will not cover you.

Thank you for the responses. I FINALLY at least got an email from Own the Magic acknowledging my order (not a shipment date...yet). They said it will ship out in the next couple of days. Fingers crossed....

Update!

Whew...I finally got the piece I ordered! It just arrived today (although no shipment notification as I was told I would receive). I am glad that it was delivered...because I really was not looking forward to disputing the purchase with Paypal or my credit card company.

Although my item arrived in good condition, I will never order from Own the Magic again. It really is ashamed because the concept of the company is really cool (I love the thought of owning something from Disney...not just a store bought souvenier). Customer service is severely lacking with this business. For anyone out there who checks the site, I would think twice before placing any orders.
