Out with the Vikings, in with princess

If you watched the flow of the crowd about .01% of people went into the church to view the exhibit. I can't get upset that it's being replaced. I enjoyed it. The first 10 times through. It was time to update it in some way.

So how long as that "Spirited Beasts" animal/anime exhibit at the very back of the Japanese pavilion been there?

I only relatively recently realized you could actually go into it.

Bah! A-cultured Philistines. WS was unique, and uniquely Disney: perfect family entertainment by virtue of being both educational, for all ages, and enjoyable. And they destroy it for commercialised rubbish that you can see everywhere else.

Putting princesses in WS makes EPCOT less Disney, not more. Not to mention, turning Norway into princessland is rather belittling of Norway and its people. If there were a World Showcase in Japan, would Americans appreciate it if the American Adventure were given over to a Hello Kitty breakfast and a Honey-booboo exhibit?

Oh well, I suppose hard-working, middle-class families who hold old-fashioned values such as respect for different cultures and raising their children in an atmosphere that is fun and educational are no longer Disney's audience.

Then let TDO change temporary exhibits like, once a decade.

So I guess since Norway no longer sponsors the pavillion, WDW can do whatever. Is this going to be like a promo area? Or permanent display?

Did Norway ever directly sponsor the pavilion? I thought it was sponsored by privately owned Norwegian businesses, with the Morocco Pavilion being the only one that was sponsored directly by the country it represents.
