Just doesn't seem right to be furloughed for over a year and with no one from where I worked reaching out to me to give me any updates on chances of being brought back. I worked hard for Disney but tossed out like stale bread.

Have reached out (to HR) -- they just say that furlough can be indeterminate with no given timeframe.
Yes, applying when appropriate. No feedback on those positions I have applied for though.
