Hi all!
Just wondering if anyone can help-I have just noticed on the Disney wedding site that outside the pavillion to the right, there is an arch, through which you have a perfect view of the castle! Does anyone know if you can get married at this arch, as we would rather our small ceremony be out in the open, and this looks perfect! Really hoping that if you can, that there isn't a max guest rule, as otherwise we will find ourselves in the same situation as not being able to tie the knot at sunset pointe!

Yes, there is! NE of the pavillion you will find the arch and the castle view is perfectly centered. Discuss with your wedding planner what you envision your special day to be like and with the help of Disney -they will make it happen. Of course you can get married at the arch!

Hello,

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

The arch is a beautiful location and lovely for a smaller wedding. But one thing you might want to consider is the heat levels of getting married outside. We got married in the month of May at 2pm and standing in a full wedding dress in the heat of the day was very hard going; and that was just for photos! The pavilion is beautiful inside and air conditioned. Here's some photo from our wedding of both inside the pavilion and one taken by the arch.

(Sorry the quality is not great but I had to take a photo of the photos)

These pictures are from years ago. No offense, but the pavillion no longer looks like that on the inside. I just got married there in March and it looks different. When you see the stained glass behind the reverened, it is now a picture window and you can see the castle plan as day. The arch is now beautifully colored in lucious green's. The benches have been updated and the carpet also. It looks so much better now than it did when it first opened. If I knew how to post pictures I would. Go to disneyweddings.go.com and look at the new pics.

Yes your right, we got married back in 1998. Sorry I didn't realize it had changed so much.

The pictures are lovely. They had a great photographer. The wedding pavillion is captured so beautifully in the slideshow.:)

The photographers are a young couple and are from Orlando -they're wonderful! They have done other Disney weddings too.

Tink-erbell - Check them out @ rootweddings.com

You might want to consider meeting with them!

Also -just remembered there are shots in my cousin's slideshow where you can see the arch.
