Yep we've got a 5 day park hopper

Awesome. What about signature dines / fine dines? Any interest to you at all? You've got a lot of buffets and character dines scheduled...

You can eat in the Castle and meet all the princesses, that's 2 TS credits though. I do it every trip, and it's fun. With a group of two, you are most likely going to be sat in the window overlooking the carousel, which is a great way to launch (or finish) a trip in my view.

Jiko's, Le Cellier, Yachtsman Steakhouse are all also excellent as far as signature dines go (Le Cellier is only 1 TS credit for lunch!)

A fun way to do Illuminations is to catch it from one of the outdoor restaurants at EPCOT. My personal favorite is Rose and Crown (UK). You book late, within an hour or so of showtime, and when you show up, request outdoor seating. Tokyo Dine (a sushi place in Japan) and La Hacienda (Mexican food in...well...Mexico) both do this as well.

We've booked a lot of character dinings because I REALLY want to meet the characters but think that character dinings would be the easiest way to do so instead of trying to find and line up for them around the parks.

I REALLY wanted to do the dinner in the castle but don't know which of the dinners I would cancel in it's place. Obviously the Arkeshus Royal Meal cause it would no longer be needed as we would be meeting the princesses at CRT but not sure on which of the other meals I would cancel as well

You would be correct that character meals are the way to go, but meet and greets aren't all that bad either. Especially in late Feb, I'd suspect.

If you change your mind, consider swapping out your Akershus and 1900 Park Fare dinner and using those credits on your first day to eat at CRT?

Try to grab Tusker's Breakfast, if you are into the character dines. It's loads of fun and very good. Yak and Yeti is also a great place to snag lunch this day. To quote a friend of mine "Try the lettuce cups!"

That's all I have for you at this point! Sounds like a great trip!

What characters are at Tusker's Breakfast?

The week before is all 9 out of 10 for Presidents Day etc. We fall just between Presidents Day and Spring vacation so we really seem to have tied it nicely. It's just that 9 out of 10 that scared me so I thought it would be better to do MK later in the week when it is like a 4 or a 5

We were There on a 9 day earlier this year and It was Horrible...couldnt move without bumping into someone and the stress really seemed to be affecting everyone.

That's good thinking cause 1900PF is Cinderella and Co. It would also be a good idea because we'd be wanting to go back to MK after AK anyway

That's why as soon as I saw the 9 it freaked me out and I straight away decided I wasn't going there that day. Glad I made the right decision lol :)

Dinner is Cindy and Co., but breakfast is Alice in Wonderland, though it changes up a bit in the mornings. When I went in August, it was Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger and Pooh (Mary Poppins shows up here too, but we didn't run into her)

You can always pay for a dinner right instead of using credits?

I've got to try and figure out what time I should book for CRT with AK closing at 5pm lol
CRT is expensive, so I'd certainly use your credits for it (I assume you were already planning to, but I wanted to be sure). Same as 1900 PF, I'd aim for 6 - 6:30p. What time is Wishes that day?

Also, when using the DP you'll be presented your bill before giving your Key to the World card to the server, so you can pick and choose which you want to pay for. At QS places, they'll tell you the cost if you ask, and the prices are clearly posted for mental math.

You can use your credits in any order and on any day. The total number of credits remaining will be printed on the bottom of each receipt, so it is very easy to track. The number of credits is based on the number of nights you are staying, so you will each have 6 QS credits, 6 snacks and 6 TS credits.

Since it appears the you are staying 6 nights, but only have 5 day tickets, don't forget that the DP is tied to your room, not your tickets.

I hope that helps you plan?

You have been VERY helpful.

I can't believe how little I know about what I am doing lol. There are way too many options haha

Wishes that day is 8pm

I wouldn't do it any later then 6:30 then, 6:00 would be better. The whole meal will take about an hour to an hour and a half, and they will shoot off fireworks while people are still dining.

I've done that twice (CRT while Wishes was going on, and it's fun, but not the same as seeing it from outside.

If you want to see what fireworks from the inside of the Castle look like, skip to about 55 seconds in on this video (it's from my 2011 trip) Oh, and turn your speakers down. I used Deadmau5 for the soundtrack, so it's got some kick to it!
