The only thing I would recommend is that you have a couple of days where you are park hopping due to extra magic hours. I would recommend that you change your schedule around so that you stay in the park the day of the extra magic hours to avoid doing allot of traveling back and forth. Also something you may want to consider. We have found that parks that have evening extra magic hours are not as crowded the following morning. You are going in February, so may not be that big of a deal, but just a tip in the event you find yourself going during a busier time of year. We have done this in the past and it generally works out well.

lol I really need help planning this itinerary lmao. MK has extra evening hours our first day there but the 9 out of 10 for the park really scared me away from it.

Is that Presidents Day weekend?

The week before is all 9 out of 10 for Presidents Day etc. We fall just between Presidents Day and Spring vacation so we really seem to have tied it nicely. It's just that 9 out of 10 that scared me so I thought it would be better to do MK later in the week when it is like a 4 or a 5

I agree. Monday is usually a big day for MK. Most people traveling in on Sunday make it their first stop, so Monday gets the traffic.

One Little Spark...
A few questions.

How many people are in your group and what are their ages (if there are kids)?

What hotel are you staying at?

Are you on any Dining Plan?

1900 PF Restaurant 8:45pm

We discussed this in the other thread. You need to push the ADR back a half hour to an hour or so or you'll most likely miss it. Also, are you planning only a half day at HS? Or are you coming in the night before?

1900 PF Breakfast 8am

I wouldn't do 1900 PF twice (I'm not fond of it though, for full disclosure). Have you thought about swapping one of these meals out for Dinner or Breakfast at Ohana's over at the Poly resort just for a new experience?

Animal Kingdom

Try to grab Tusker's Breakfast, if you are into the character dines. It's loads of fun and very good. Yak and Yeti is also a great place to snag lunch this day. To quote a friend of mine "Try the lettuce cups!"

That's all I have for you at this point! Sounds like a great trip!

We could always go first day AK, second day HS, third day Epcot to tie in with the magic hours. Which would make sense with us having dinner at EP on the third day

Agreed. Park Hopping is really best for longer trips. For a short trip, especially a first trip, I'd just avoid it.

We're staying at Pop Century resort and yes we are on the Disney dining plan. As for the 1900 PF we already changed that from 8pm to 8:25pm though if we went to AK that day instead of HS it wouldn't be an issue as AK closes at 5pm anyway

One of our biggest stumbling blocks in the past (especially when we do the dining plan) is we find ourselves scheduling park days around meals. So our vacation then becomes centered around meals and not the parks. Our trip to DL this last summer was nice because the dining options are much more limited in DL than in WDW so we focussed on the parks and grabbed something when we were hungry. We enjoyed it much more.

Ah, Pop. Good deal. Keep in mind that, since you are at Pop, you can take the AoA busses, too. It's a 5 - 10 minute walk from Pop to AoA, at worst. Check out AoA when you visit. The food court is fantastic.

Which dining plan? (1 QS, 1 Snack, 1 TS or Deluxe with 3 TS and 2 Snacks?)

How many people in the group and their ages (if kids)?

We got a very good deal here in Australia. Six nights accommodation at Pop Century Resort, Dining Plan consisting of 1 QS, 1 Snack, 1TS and five day park hopper for 2 people total price $2213.57

As for how many people are going it's me (I'll be 26) and my 21 year old brother. Both for our first time

I guess now I should try to change the reservation at Epcot so we can see Illuminations lol and cancel the new reservation at 1900PF as we will get the GF for 8pm as AK closes at 5pm.

What is the earliest we could make dinner at GF with AK closing at 5pm?

Are you interested at all in signature dining (very classy or special restaurants)? You can double up TS credits to eat at one of those. QS out of pocket is about $10 or less, if you eat at the resort, $15 or so if you eat on the parks. At the resort you can use the refillable mug that comes with your Dining Plan for drinks with your meal.

If you are staying 6 nights, you will have 12 TS credits between the two of you (it's based on the number of nights you are staying).

I'd book at 6:30 at the earliest. Then, after dinner, you can close out the day at MK and fireworks!
