Trip Report Our First Trip

Hi everybody! My boyfriend and I just went on our first trip together. I want to recall it to the general public because it was probably the best trip I could have ever been on (even better than my imagination, too). I'll be doing this in spurts (because I'm quite busy. Full time job. New apartment. You know...adult life :p)

So...stay tuned!!!!

I love hearing those types of stories where couples keep going back and have been going back for 20+ years. There's nothing I would want more than to do that with @Livingwiththeland555 !:inlove: Disney is super special to us since that's what truly connected us and we are happy to have such a magical place to share together. I hope you and your wife have tons of fun on your trip, and I'm sure you'll experience the magic throughout your stay!
Disney is really special to us and I am so excited to continuing Disney adventures with @AdventurerEllie every year! I have no doubt in my mind that Disney together will continue to be just as amazing every time

So we haven't been together 20+ years, but my wife and I have been together for 5.5 years. And we still don't get sick of WDW. It looks like we're getting our first full length solo trip just her and I to WDW in march for nearly 2 weeks!

We got together cause of Disney too. I'd met her briefly at a mutual friends christmas party, then the following week on New Year's Eve I went party hopping with the same friends, wound up at her house where I walked in and saw a Christmas tree with nothing but disney decorations on it. We literally talked WDW the entire night and haven't stopped since :)

Disney compatible relationships are the best type of relationships, IMO!

Hey everybody!

I know I still have 2 more days of our time in Disney to post. I apologize for the hiatus. Sam just came back from Hershey and we've been spending some quality time together and with his family, but there will be more posts soon...hopefully throughout the week!

Hi Everyone! Sorry for the delay on posting. I am going to start by going over the first half of our last full day at Disney. I know this has been said multiple times throughout the recap of the trip but this trip will go down as the best Disney trip ever (until @AdventurerEllie and I go again next year ;)). I still look back and remember how happy I was to be at Disney with my favorite person.

We started our day by waking up and going right to the bus to Hollywood Studios (I prefer the name MGM :)). When we got to DHS we decided to go straight to Toy Story Mania. On our way to Toy Story Mania Michelle lead the way because I am terrible with directions :D. Prior to getting to the ride we stopped at Joffrey's coffee stand to get a quick bite to eat and for some coffee. The donut we had there was really good and Michelle said she enjoyed her iced coffee. When we arrived at Toy Story the wait was only 20-30 minutes. Michelle and I found ourselves wandering around the queue line and observing all of the small details. I know this sounds cheesy but something that always made me smile was holding hands while walking in the queue lines. We both really enjoyed the ride (for the most part lol) and thought it was very well done. The ride created an inside joke for us that we still laugh about to this day. After Toy Story we headed over to Rock n' Roller Coaster and waited about 30 minutes. Michelle got some good photos from us waiting in line. The ride was great as always. We wanted to ride Tower of Terror again but the line was too long (Luckily we got to ride it again on our last day).

After the quick morning at DHS we headed over to Epcot for the rest of the day. We knew from the start that we wanted our last night at Disney to be spent watching the fireworks at Epcot together to cap off this magical trip. We often would talk about holding hands and watching the fireworks together ;) We took the boat from DHS to Epcot which was really easy and convenient. Instead of getting off at Epcot we decided to get off at the Beach Club and walk over. I really enjoyed the walk with Michelle and we daydreamed about staying at the Beach Club together sometime in the near future. When we got to Epcot we decided to start to walk towards the World Showcase. Our first stop was to get some more coffee for Michelle. She decided to get some coffee with Kahlua which she said she thoroughly enjoyed :). We proceeded to the Land and got a very tasty lunch and we rode Living with the Land!! Our third stop was Mexico. I really enjoyed the Mexico boat ride and next time we go we might eat dinner in the Mexican Pavilion. When we were about to leave the Mexican Pavilion we decided to go to Test Track before continuing around the World Showcase. The previous day we had a fast pass to Test Track but the Florida storms shutdown the ride for most of the evening. We walked over planning on waiting the line but we decided to tell the cast member about our fast pass cancellation. The cast member was super nice and let us go in the fast pass line. Michelle and I designed the coolest car of all time. On a side note something I really love about Michelle is her creativity. After the ride we hung out in the gift shop becasue of the rain. After the rain let up we ventured to the World Showcase.

Hey Everyone! I am going to continue where I left off with my last post. After leaving Test Track we headed over to The Land to use our fast passes for Soarin'. We both loved it and really liked the new updates. During the ride it reminded Michelle and I how there are so many places around the world that we want to travel to together. Michelle truly is the best travel partner and she makes me smile so much. I look forward to our world and Disney travels in the future! After Soarin' we headed to the World Showcase and made our way around the world. Michelle and I both enjoyed walking through the World Showcase. One highlight was stopping to see the updated Norway Pavilion. At the time Frozen Ever After was down (As it was for most of the time we were at Epcot). Michelle and I both agree that this ride should NOT be in Epcot. We believe it goes against the original theme and intention for the World Showcase and the park as a whole. We often sarcastically joke together about the ride (Michelle has a great sense of humor and she makes me laugh all of the time and it is one of the many reasons why I lover her).

One of the highlights of our trip around the World Showcase was stopping to get beer in Germany. We enjoyed our beers while walking around and enjoying the fun atmosphere that is the World Showcase. We had some extra time before our dinner reservation at Rose and Crown so we decided to do the American Adventure. I really enjoy this attraction and I think Michelle did as well (We both really enjoy history. Michelle particularly knows a lot about Alexander Hamilton ;)) Following the American Adventure we went to dinner and had some amazing fish and chips. Overall, the World Showcase is really cool and I was able to appreciate it a lot more now that I am older. I hope that someday Michelle and I can say that we have eaten at every restaurant in the World Showcase together! Be on the lookout for the last part of our trip report coming soon!

This was such a sweet post! :inlove: I'm glad you enjoyed this trip as much as you did and it didn't warrant me being the worst travel partner ever (even though you discovered my cranky side when I'm hungry and sleepy:D:p). I can be a spoiled brat in Disney ;););)

Wait, I just recalled a memory that I didn't write about from one of the days:

When Sarah, her friends, me, and Sam did Hall of Presidents together, Sarah and I couldn't stop laughing at the thought of Donald Trump, in there. We kept giggling at the thought of his speech (will he mention his hand?) and what shade of orange he would be.
