Ok - these are the same friends I mentioned in my dining suggestion thread. We are helping to send them to WDW for their honeymoon next week. It will be the first time in WDW for the bride (though she's been to DL) and the second for the groom (he hasn't been in about 10 years though). Without overwhelming them, I wanted to give them a few tips for Epcot and Magic Kingdom--probably the only parks they'll get to visit. This is what I sent them:
OTHER TIPS
EPCOT:
If you want to ride Soarin', you must get a fast pass as soon as you enter the park. The lines for this ride are CRAZY!
If you get motion sickness, don't ride the original version of Mission: Space. There's a tamer one that I ride.
Try Epcot's Food and Wine Festival. I'm not sure what it is exactly, but I know I would check it out if I were visiting at this time!
MAGIC KINGDOM:
MUST rides - Buzz Lightyear, Space Mountain, Mickey's Philharmagic, Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain (ask to sit in the back).
Are there any ESSENTIAL tips for first-timers-who-have-no-idea-about-WDW I should include as well?

- Whichever park you visit first, immediately find the Guest Services counter. Tell them you just got married and they will give you free "Honeymoon" buttons.
- Photo Pass is neat and doesn't cost anything. If you are posing for a picture, a Disney Cast Member will most likely pop up and take one with their camera and then give you a card. Give this card to every Cast Member that takes your picture. You can later look at all the pictures they've taken online by using the code on the card and order some if you'd like.
- When getting fastpasses you are given an hour-long window of time to come back and ride the ride. You cannot get another fastpass until that hour-long span begins. Once it does, try getting another fastpass and then head to the ride. This way, you'll get the most fastpasses you can. Though, you may not even need them. (DH) and I didn't use very many b/c the crowd level was not too bad when we were there. If you'd prefer the front of back of any ride, simply ask and they will usually accommodate you.
- If you ride the monorail, you can ask to wait for one that will allow you to sit in the front. if you do this, you should get a monorail pilot's license.
