If you're big music fans, definitely check out the Hard Rock Vault. It's in front of the the (pretty much dead) Mercado shopping center. It's right up the street from Wonderworks. Also up the street is a big outlet mall thing with a big FAO Schwartz toystore.

The Dixie Stampeede dinner show is really cool too. It's like Midevial Times, but with a Civil War type theme. You're either for the North or the South. I haven't been, but my parents have and tay it's great. They say the food there is really good too.

The Mercado not very popular anymore because of the new development just a little further up? I like the Mercado, we always stop by there on our visits!

FAO Closed awhile back. It's now just a giant empty building, but the signs and everything are still up.

Really? Wow. I was just there a little over a year ago. My friends and I had a blast jumping around on the big piano and causing general mayhem (this is what happens when you let a bunch of 30-somethings loose in a toy store).

I think FAO closed all stores except the NY Flagship as they are Chapter 11ish right now. I think the Orlando store closed just after Christmas this last year.
