Oswald's New Look

In the article linked below, Oswald the Rabbit seems to have been given a new design. Also, there's mention of new shorts or ever a possible feature film!

I'm not all that fond of the redesign...it reminds me too much of Pokemon-styled anime. I'm not a huge fan of that styling, as popular as it is/was...

I don't know, I'm at least glad that they are trying to do something with him tho, but I think they are also trying to rush it. This redesign doesn't really come all that long after the re-acquisition of the character....seems rushed to me.

I'm not quite sure about the redesign just yet, so I will save my judgement until I see the "new" Oswald being used more commercially.

It's not so much Pokemon as it is the style...the redesign has an anime feel to it. The closest thing I could compare him too was Pokemon or perhaps something like Sonic the Hedgehog.

I do not think (for once) we are the market they are trying to reach. Oswald is huge in TDL, and the redesign will most likely add to his popularity.
