Great nominations! Though way too much "The Blind Side" and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" if you ask me, even if it had great sound mixing.
:hurl:

Up getting the nomination for Best Picture is HUGE. Putting my hopes on it, Up in the Air, and Inglorious Basterds sweeping house, with a few wins for District 9 in there too. I will only grant Avatar special effects, anything else is pushing it.

What he said. I do hope PATF snags something, though.

Ugh, i have yet to see Up and of course I heard it was phenomenal! I'm definitely going to have to rent it or buy it before the Oscar's so I can appropriately root for it to win! :animwink:

The only reason I think Up is in the running for Best Picture is because they expanded the group to so many pictures (which is ridiculous in my mind).

The Blind Side for Best Picture? Wow, surprising. But, to be honest, I really did love that movie. Sandra Bullock was excellent in it, and I hate her.

Animated picture... I've heard really good things about Fantastic Mr. Fox. I don't know.

Honestly, tough choices. I don't know. I think IB should win Best Original Screenplay, though.
