Osborne Lights question

I'm looking at the park hours for December.
I'll be at WDW from the 7th till the 14th.
Does anyone know, during the season do they generally run the Lights every night or just on select nights?

As a general rule, yes, each night the lights will be light. In the past however they have had a single night where they were not open to the public, so there is the change something similar may happen. Just keep that in mind when planning and make sure to keep checking for any news on something such as that being announced.

Oh yes, I definitely will be keeping up with things all the way until December. For now, if its in the past generally been every night, I'll plan along those lines.

Like already mentioned it is every night starting in mid November thru January with the exception of the park closing for a private party which is rare, but will be posted on the park hours calendar.

Do not wait until the last night to go see it. If you have not seen them before then you will most likely be amazed and want to get back to see them again. The lights being choreographed to music is spectacular just the name says.

Enjoy them and just watch the calendar as your trip gets closer to make sure you don't miss them.

During the period you are there, they will be on every night at 6...the private parties are sometimes scheduled in early to mid november, They don't do any of them in December when attendance starts hitting its peak for the holiday events.

We strolled through the lights after Fanstasmic! when we went in 2010, but last year we went for the lighting which was very cool. I believe they just say "at dusk" as the official lighting time, so it could be between 6-6:30p when they light them. Still... It's just amazing to see that many lights suddenly go on.

One word of warning...if there's any rain prior to the lights...certain things may not work or may not work right away. Everything was lit and the snow was fully operational on our first visit, but we had some showers before the lights went on this past visit. As a result, there was no faux snow and a few of the angels were dark.
