IM BACK....I know I know sheesh long time since I have published a trip report. Trust me I have still been going and have like a months worth of photo's to send in. I have just been real busy in the labs with work and system issues. These computers are so touchy some days :)

I took in all 4 parks today mainly some shopping and to see how construction is coming with the new attractions.

My first stop was at Animal Kingdom to check out Everest the track is coming along nicely. With huge brown colored piece of steel (obvious track supports) raising into the sky. There is a rehab wall now going staight across the front of the mountain. The everest village is on the DAK map and will be opening OFFICIALLY this Friday the 19th of March. The rehab wall to the village is gone and Constructions crews where still working today on the village. Nice little touch the WDI team worked in. The bicycle tire marks that you see in asia follow down the path. Like they have been there from the beginning. triceratop spin is still closed.

Next stop was MGM. I checked out the Stunt Show construction which is coming along very well. I saw allot of construction people working on it today allot of steel laying around front and they appeared to be working on a path today. The New York street is still going through rehab with walls up everywhere.

Magic Kingdom was the next stop. The new mice spirit boats are being used but appears some of the old ones are still running also. No Wishes cd anywhere in sight nor in the near future. The rehab wall is still up at Alien Encounter. I didnt spend allot of time at Magic Kingdom I was just buying some new shirts and then it was off to Epcot.

Arriving at Epcot I noticed some of the cast using the new nextel system. I spoke with one cast friend who said they are still having an issue rolling it out park wide. The system works above ground (on stage) but below in the tunnels both at MK and Epcot they go dead with no signal. The phones appeard to be the I88S series. Soarin construction is going very well with the first layer of roofing nearing completion. Another cast friend told me they are well ahead of schedule with Soarin' even with the little rain we have had. Could a sooner opening date be in the future who knows? I did notice one small change at the monorail station at Epcot. There is now an Exit "swing" gate at the end of exit ramp same kind they have at TTC. The rehab wall at the AT&T Global Neighborhood is up and everything in the post show is closed now basically a CM is there to show you the exits when you leave Spaceship earth.

I will get the photos emailed in a little later this weekend.

Yay! I can't wait for the path to open. Shame there is a wall in front of it now. Great update, thanks for the info buddy.

hmm i88s, Those are GPS Enabled, I wonder if they are planning on using them to track employees...

I do like the fact that Nextel's signal is excellent throughout the parks now that Disney uses em.

The Water Mice are being reintroduced into the fleet due to hull problems with the Sea Raycers, which hurt the already reduced fleet that the Sea Raycers brought.

Glad they are working out the problems before they introduce them at PO/DTD!

Great update...I'm real glad to know that Soarin construction is ahead of schedule. Its interesting, we've heard that E:E, and Stitch constructions are ahead of schedule aswell...if anything it shows that they want these attractions opened sooner rather than later...hopefully thats a good thing.
