Greetings all from the geek labs

What can I say but THANK YOU for tropical storms!!!!

I took in a trip to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot today. I must say the parks had very very little crowds.. Buzz Lightyear 5 minute wait Haunted Mansion 5 minutes.... see a pattern here

Epcot Mission:SPACE wait was 10 minutes for singles and 25 for standby....again thanks to the storm

I took allot of pictures today and have already emailed them all to Steve for the next update. I took new pictures of Mickey's Philharmagic (alas no preview for me today, maybe this week if they do them) more shots from behind the rehab wall, and also the Mickey statue atop the Philharmagic sign.

I covered The Big Thunder Mountain rehab allot should see 15-16 pictures of the work being done. Looks like they are just hitting the mountain hard with rehab work

Also took some updated shots of the Buzz Lightyear photo shop.

I did see some of the inside of Mickey's Philharmagic's store. I could make out a very nice Mickey statue inside the store (its by one of the windows) and a CM was opening the gate to the store in which time I was able to make Toy Story merchandise for sale. The store from what I could see through the windows is very nice large, and well layed out.

Parks where Great crowds where nice, and the rain was minimal. Hopefully this week I can get a preview of Philharmagic if so I will try for pictures. I did talk to CM friends who have seen some Philharmagic videos of what the attraction will be like and they where very very impressed

I know what you mean. MS was great today because of the rain. Mickey has been on the sign for going on three weeks at least now. And they did do a quick preview today, I managed to get in, very funny, it'll give shrek some competition...without the bashing that they give disney (Degenerates, not Disney, Universal).

Did you see the camra inside Buzz today?

I didnt see the camera on Buzz since I didnt ride it. I was trying to get all the shots I could, and was going to try for MGM to get more backlot construction shots but ran out of time.

I had not seen the new statue of Mickey atop Philharmagic till this weekend. Of course I read where people had seen it etc.

I cant wait for Philharmagic congradtes on getting to see it.

I went to Epcot tuesday and thursday also MK and BB on wednesday. I have never seen the parks so empty. I do not know if it has anything to do with the storms but just a really slow time of year.
