I'm a big history buff and love going to musuems. I have seen the Orlando has a Titanic museum. I'm curious to know if anyone has gone to this museum or if anyone has heard anything about it. I think The Titanic is one of the many interesting tragedies of history.

Does it really? The Titanic was one of my favorite movies when it came out. I am fascinated with the disaster. I would be interested in going there.

There was a museum at The Mercado on International Drive. However I recall reading last year that developers were going to flatten the Mercado.

The Mercado website is down, but the Titanic exhibition is still up

You can try contacting them to see if the exhibition is staying.

The Titanic Exibit is still there. Although is has been moved/expanded from its orginal location inside Mercado. I haven't been there in ages but now its entrance is in the old Guiness World Records Building (Hard Rock Vault for those who have been to Florida within the past year or so). It doesn't really make any difference though since that building is right outside Mercado The exhibit is really cool if it is like it used to be. A tour guide who is supposed to be a person that actually was on the Titanic gives you a tour of the whole place. They have recreations of different parts of the ship and there is even a scene in there where you are on the deck of the ship the night it sank, it's like 50 degrees in that room. Then at the end you find out if your tour guide died or not in real life. Also at the very beginning you are given a little piece of paper with a name on it that you are supposed to be and at the end you go to this huge wall with every passengers name and find out if you died or not. It is a very fun and good experience if it is anything like it used to be. If you have time while you are here definately go and see it. I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have about other I-drive attractions or anything else you may want to know.
