Original Figment to be back part 2!

Sure, it makes sense. Because WDW opened in October 1971. Fall is in Ocober. Fall starts with 'f' and so does Figment. Fig is short for Figment, and I like fig newtons. So, it's all just a fig of your imagination.

I believe that the original change was prompted by the contract with Kodak and required a change after a certain number of years, however, Kodak is no longer a force in anything and it is entirely up to Disney to make changes. The seem disinclined to acquiesce to that situation.
The original change may have been induced by the break with kodak. But the quality of the attraction sans kodak had everything to do with who was in charge. Not to mention the handling of the pavilion in order to make it unpopular back in the day which has been credited by many on here as being a thing.

It wasn't really a break with Kodak. They still sponsored it long after the initial change was made. It was because they required it in their contract. The change was made and Kodak continued to sponsor. Eisner saw it two years in and immediately went ballistic and made them change it again, not back to the original, but, to, at least, a better version which is what we see now. Kodak continued to sponsor it until Kodak let themselves go out of business because they refused to keep up with digital technology and that is when they stopped sponsoring because they had nothing left to sponsor it with. It's too bad that Disney is unable to learn from Kodak, one of the largest corporations in the world. Hear much about them anymore? It can happen to anyone including Disney.

It's not a pattern--the first ride was open for 15 years and next June, this current version would be open for 15 years.

Sure, Imagination might close at some point. But, that's because it sucks, not because Disney is following some strange and inconsistent "pattern."
Im saying that the ride stunk as Journey into your Imagination and it stinks now etc etc
