Ordering Movies

Hey guys...I have been going for years...but question..

I am goin Jan 4-11 and staying at Pop Century with 3 of my friends and we were wondering if you could order movies for the tv or order movies for the room..any help is appreciated!

On my last two trips to Pop Century...with the last being two months ago..they don't have movies you can rent in the room.

Just returned from Pop. Onlt standard Disney cable, no pay per view.

Kinda lame....we were hoping to take one day off to relax, food, pool, movie in our pjs

You could always bring a portable DVD player and a few movies with you.

thats true but sadly none of us have one and i forbiddean to bring my new mac laptop haha..bc my other one was recently stolen..

They do show a Disney movie every night over at Ft. Wilderness, if that's any help.

There is a big movie theater at DTD.
I think there is a personal dvd player rental kiosk at the orlando airport. If you feel the need to see a movie that bad, maybe you can rent a movie and a player from the airport.

Several years ago we have rented a VCR from a hotel near DTD. If the shop still exists, I suspect they would have DVD now. At that time, it was the big pink hotel that you can see from the bus stop, and was on the lower level of that hotel. I apologize that I am unable to remember the name of the hotel.

Just an FYI - the biggest mistake that a parent can make is to allow your child to purchase videos at Virgin Records on the first night of your vacation! This created an absolute emergency need for a VCR - of epic proportions. Fortunately, it was not our first trip to WDW, so all turned out just fine.

I'd recommend against Ft. Wilderness or AMC [the theatre in DTD] in PJs :lookaroun

Hahah...thanks for the suggestions...maybe i can convince my mom to bring my laptop to watch a movie! See we are college students we would go to the movie theaters in our pjs haha...maybe we'll just do the movie theater instead...we just thought since you know we'd be there for 8 days we would take a day or two off and do nothing...

I fly out tomorrow at 10am (UK time) and I am taking my laptop, I hope that I can somehow hook up the laptop to the tv as lets face it a laptop screen is ok if it is just you, but when it is 4 of you :S
