Ordering Christmas Tree/Stocking for Room

We were watching the Food Channel special on Christmas at Disney last night and they mentioned they make 4 foot trees for guests to put up in their rooms and they even ship home. Then they went on to say they make stockings as well.

I think I found the tree on DisneyFlorist.com (too expensive for us), but cannot find anything about the stockings. Is this something you pick up in the parks or can order ahead of time? I was going to buy stockings while we were down there for St. Nick's on the 5th, but this would be great to leave out for them the night before if I can find them.

The stockings are actually stuck on the doors on Christmas morning (gift from Disney) - but the florist could probably come up with something if you give them a ring.

I know the stockings you are talking about, they were cute and I did some searching but with no luck. Try calling Disney directly to find out where you could get them made up.

The trees are cute, but pricey as you said. We are just shipping our own little tree down that we already pre-decorated with lights and a few ornaments. We are taking our Disney stockings as well. We can't wait only 25 more days to go.

Is this something they do to all the rooms or only those who find a place to order them?

Hi everyone. This is really weird for me. I don't normally post I admit I am a lurker. I never know just what to say and usually see my answer already replied by someone else. Anyway, My family and I are going to the World for Christmas and we were also wondering about the trees that was on that tv show. We went to our travel agent and couldn't get any answers from her. (She was very, very helpful in everything else though). We found the web site just a short while ago. Our problem is that we live in Idaho and when we tried to call the florist about getting a smaller tree or finding a cheaper one, they were already closed for the day. We all work during the florists opening hours and can't make a phone call ourselves. What I'm trying to ask is if anyone has already asked or is going to ask, I am really interested in what they have to say. I don't get to the boards much but will try to check every chance I get.
Also, I am staying at the contemporary from the 19th to the 27th and was curious about the stockings. I had never heard about them and had a couple of questions about them if that's ok? First, is it true? Second, if true is it 1 stocking or one for everyone in the room? (If it's just the one it would be so perfect for my 5 year old niece.)
Again, I never like to write on message boards but wanted to let everyone know that I read them as often as I can and have gotten a ton of ideas and advice from everyone. I just wanted to say Thank-you, and have a great holiday season however you celebrate.:xmas: PS sorry so long:(

I haven't called about the trees, cause we are packing and shipping our own tree to the resort as we arrive Christmas Eve. We put our own disney decorations on it and packed up window decorations and lights as well as our own christmas stockings.

I just returned from the World and did not see anything anywhere about the tree or stocking. I ended up going over to DTD to the Christmas shop and bought two stockings then stuffed them with Disney chocolates. Then I hung them from the bed posts while the kids were sleeping. They were totally surprised and ate chocolate for breakfast!
