Ordering a birthday cake Question

If you are ordering a birthday cake for dessert in a restaurant in Disney, are there only certain flavors you can choose from? I know you can get pretty much anything you want for a price but I just wanted to know if there was more of a selection than chocolate and vanilla without paying a fortune for a cake.

they offer couple of flavors, i just can't remember any of them. Sorry. Just call them and ask.

If you are getting the premade round cake available at the last minute then you are pretty much stuck with chocolate and vanilla. If you order 48 hours or more in advance then there is pretty much nothing that they can't do.

good luck ordering a cake through disney. I got the number for the cake hotline, called and nobody called me back for about a week. i took the information left on the answering machine, called the manager at the poly back like instructed that night and still haven't heard from her. that was a month ago and i booked through an off property company, got what i wanted and spent more money.

I have ordered cakes on the last two trips to Disney and both where just what I asked for. I called the cake hot line and than check at the restaurant when I arrived. The one that I ordered for the Hoop-De-Do Review was delivered to my table by the staff and they made a big production of it. Well worth the money.

I ordered two cakes for an upcoming surpise birthday trip for my DD. The standard 6" cake was $25, chocolate or vanilla were the only flavors for this standard cake. They will write a personal message, but no added characters. I inquired about getting a special cake done up in Tinkerbell and was told for a specialty cake the prices start out at $75!!!!!! I am sure they are beautiful, but I just couldn't justify a $75 cake for 5&7 year old girls!:shrug:

I tried doing the cake thing for my husband a few years ago. I called them twice and reminded the host at check in for dinner and our server still had no idea what I was talking about.
