What part of Colorado? I'm in the Springs!

What a small world. We will be moving to Colorado Springs in the next year or two. Both my parents were Colorado natives and met at CU.

One question, does it snow as much in Colorado Springs as it does up in the NE part of the state? I remember driving back to visit my mom's parents one Christmas and that was a ton of snow, especially for a kid who lived in L.A. Which is why my father reminded my mother of the reason they moved to Southern California - that, and a job. I have a picture of me standing in snow up to my chest.

Nice!

No I would say we get our fair share of snow but nothing to unbearable! I lived in Pennsylvania and Maryland and I would say in comparison the winters in the Northeast are out of control. I think the most snow we got this year was a couple months ago when it snowed for a couple days and we got maybe a foot or so.

The same thing happened to me. She'd probably drop the lawsuit if she realized all the chip did was give her WDW discount codes and the dates for free dining as soon as they were released.
OK, She's from West Virginia. Free Dining would be something she would beg for a chip for.................and maybe some French Onion Dip.

It's times like these that I'm proud to be a West Virginian....who lives in FL. I moved to FL because WV was to normal for my tastes.

Gosh, and so many Coloradoans here. My Ex and I lived in Aurora for 11 years and both our kids were born there.

Disney has been brainwashing people for decades. The direct programming method is way cheaper than years of subliminals in their movies and theme parks.

This poor woman is blissfully unaware that she is actually a "Disney Social Media Attack Bot". If someone within a 150 mile radius of her location blasphemes Disney, the programming kicks in.

Most of the people that I know from Colorado are FROM Colorado Springs. I have been there twice. My oldest Daughter graduated from Colorado College. My son in law was born and raised there (lives here in North Carolina with the rest of us) and his family goes back a couple of generations as CS natives. His parents live in Jacksonville, Florida now. He tells me that they get snow, but, not much and it is usually gone in a day or two. It is what is considered the "high desert". He had the misfortune of visiting us in Vermont when they were still dating and got caught in the middle of a giant Nor'easter. He still marvels at how much snow we got in just one storm.

It's a very nice area, but, I always felt like they could have put a little more money into oxygen. Seems a little short of it there. Especially on top of Pikes Peak. I'm pretty certain there is none there at all, but, it was worth it just to scare all my female passengers on the way back on that guardrail less, twisting road back down to still too high.
