We're trying to decide on a character breakfast for our upcoming trip. The kids are split between Goofy's Kitchen and Storytellers. I'm looking for opinions, good and bad, on both of these locations. So please share your thoughts/experiences.
At Goofy's Kitchen you get a wide variety of characters, Storytellers is limited to the critters like Chip, Dale, Koda, and Kenai. I've never been to Storytellers, but I've been to Goofy's Kitchen a couple of times and enjoy it. The food is buffet style and it's pretty good. The atmosphere is fun and you get a lot of good character interaction.
Our last trip we did both of those breakfasts and while both were great fun I would say the quality of food was much better at the storytellers and it was a nice change getting some different characters such as Koda from Brother Bear and Turk the gorilla from Tarzan. I would say this is the best character breakfast at Disneyland.
Storytellers is a tad more upscale and with better food (although that could just be because the environment feels like it should offer better food), and also seems more relaxed. Goofy's Kitchen is the typical wild n' crazy buffet with lots of Characters wandering around in a loud environment.
I have done each Character buffet exactly one time. When I got caught up in a line of dancing kids and was forced to do the Macarena by Goofy as I tried to get back to the carving station, I knew I was in trouble.
Thanks for all of the replies! I'm leaning towards Storytellers since it sounds like the food is a little better. Can anyone here tell me the cost of Goofy's versus Storytellers? I've tried checking on a few sites and they all have different information. One has Goofy's at $29.99 for breakfast, another shows $32. One site shows Storytellers at $24.99, the other shows $32.
