What is your favorite restaurant to eat at in MK?

That is great to know! I am leaning toward BOG for sure. It sounds like a winner across the board. I have heard that the Royal Table is the best at breakfast time so hopefully you are in for a treat! If you think about it, let me know how it was.
I'll definitely try to remember to get to you afterward. If I forget, feel free to PM me after our return. Leaving Friday for a week..

EDIT: I wanted to add that we got our CRT pre-park opening reservation only a week or so ago. I couldn't get it on my 180 ADR day. I wasn't online quickly enough. I must have checked the website 100 times with no luck and then randomly one day it was available. Someone must have changed their plans. So, it does happen. Always check back for those reservations that you really want :)

I haven't been to Crystal Palace in seven years, but I remember it being good. I ate in Be Our Guest last year for dinner and it was the best restaurant experience I've ever had at a Disney park.

Never eaten at any other table restaurants at MK.

Awesome! I am hoping they will have an opening for us!

Just wanted to get your opinions on restaurants! We are looking to try one of these on our next trip. I have had Cinderella's Royal Table but it has been many years ago. Which is your favorite?

Cinderella's Royal Table in my DW's and my experience in the past few years has been consistently the best for food, service, and ambiance. It was a bit rocky three years ago, but they had a chef and subsequent menu change which has brought the entrees back to a very high level.

BoG in our opinion is not worth dining at more than once for lunch and dinner. The food is only average, the set backdrops are well executed (although the West Wing and Rose Gallery are nice, they get a .constant stream of folks just looking around), but its very noisy !

Liberty Tree Tavern has been our "go to" and "must not miss" for years, but however we had a not so good experience this last fall after its reopening after the long refurb. The pot roast wasnt as well prepared as in the past and the cast was out of practice.

The Crystal Palace is a favorite of ours as Eeyore is my wifes favorite character. The food is hot and fresh, but its a buffet.

I'll leave my review of Tony's to whatever you make of the ability to always get a reservation there no matter what time of day.

I am glad you mentioned the Plaza. I have a cousin who is a cast member there...I don't know how I forgot it! I have heard it referred to as the "Hidden Gem" of MK. It is pretty small place and we have always had trouble getting in because it fills fast. I really want to try it!
It's very small and easy to overlook if just passing by. I made an ADR last year and we still had to wait 15 min or so because it was packed!

You might want to rephrase your question because how it is asked will get different answers. If you are going for atmosphere I might actually put Be our Guest up as far as number 1 or 2.... but if taste comes into it then I would put it near the bottom with Cinderella's Royal Table (at least when it comes to breakfast). If you want taste/selection/value then it would likely be Crystal Palace or Liberty... You really need to decide if you want an experience for your eyes or one for your stomach.

I haven't done Cinderellas, and only BOG for breakfast and lunch (not the TS Dinner), but we LOVE Liberty Tree. It is like Thanksgiving every day! We were disappointed it was closed for the reno during our last trip.

If you are on the DDP, the Plaza might not be your best choice, it isn't that much more expensive than a counter service meal.

Crystal Palace is a buffet, nothing special about the food, but that isn't the draw.. if you like Pooh and friends, it's something to consider.

Tony's takes a lot of heat on boards like this, but I think it is mostly undeserved. It isn't the best place on property to eat, but it isn't a bad place to eat.. as long as you realize you aren't going for real Italian food.. It is on par with Olive Garden.

Despite the mixed reviews of the new Skippers Cantina, I am looking forward to trying it next time we are there. (Which is starting to come together.. :) )

The big benefit for The Crystal Palace is early, uncrowded access to Main Street. It's as amazing as you can imagine. We got great pictures and videos that morning. Even the grumpy ones in the group were glad to be there so early once they realized how great it was to not thread through crowds for a few minutes.

1 - BOG. Beautiful place, good food.
2 - Liberty. Love the food and the theming.
3 - Plaza. Great food and service but it's a bit crowded.
4- Tony's. It's OK. Thought it was kind of dull.
5 - Cinderella. Never cared for the food here.

Crystal Palace - Never done it. Don't care much for characters while eating.

My favorite isn't on your list...The plaza but from your list bog for the atmosphere (best on property) but I think it's hit or miss with food quality and service.

While I liked Tony's when we've gone (especially sitting in the atrium? with the sunshine pouring through the glass windows), I would say don't go there before checking out BOG. The atmosphere at Tony's is really nice and charming, but definitely doesn't beat out Beast's castle!

I've been to LTT for dinner and wasn't impressed. It reminded me of when I was a kid and my family had to eat Thanksgiving dinner at a cafeteria because we were out-of-town visiting my great-grandmother who lived in a retirement home. (Okay, not that bad, but I would definitely not choose mass-produced Thanksgiving dinner personally). I've heard really good things about the lunch menu however.

Dinner at BOG was amazing when we went in November. The food was delicious. It wasn't chaotic like at lunch.. checked in by the bridge and maybe waited 3 minutes before someone called our name. The shrimp and scallops were fantastic. Meeting the Beast was cool. We will definitely go back for dinner. Oh! and how could I forget that lemon meringue cupcake for dessert! Delicious!!

I've eaten at all of those restaurants and have enjoyed my meals each and every time. It really depends on what you and your family want out of the meal. Do you want to have character interaction (CP and CRT) or do you want all you can eat (LTT and CP).

CRT can be expensive, but the princesses come to your table and it's a three course meal. My daughter loved getting to see all the princesses, and at the end of the day, who doesn't want to eat inside a castle?!

LTT I think is a hidden gem. It's all you can eat Thanksgiving style food. If you go there, bring an appetite with you.

BOG is good. IMO, the atmosphere is what makes this restaurant so appealing. Don't get me wrong the food is great, but all of the rooms there are fantastic.

CP is fantastic for pretty much any meal, but I prefer it for breakfast. Being able to see Pooh and his friends is what makes this experience so great.

Tony's is another hidden gem. If you can time it right, you can sit out on the patio and watch the parade. Some think the food isn't good, but I've thoroughly enjoyed all the meals I've eaten there. Plus the service is lightning quick.

Honestly...any choice you make is going to be a good one. If you haven't already, look into Skipper's Canteen...it's MK's newest TS restaurant.
