Opinions on March

I am looking at dates for my next WDW trip and was wondering what everyone's opinions on visiting in March is? Has it been a good experience for you? Are there ever promos during this time?

Typically, I've stuck to the April/May time frame or September/October.

Thanks!

I like March. St. Patricks Day is fun. Living in New England, it's usually when the weather starts to get warmer. Baseball pre-season is coming to an end.

Overall, I like March.

I’ve visited in March several times and have reservations for this coming March. The pros are attending Atlanta Braves Spring Training games at Wide World of Sports and the weather is nice enough for time at the pool. You’ll find the Parks busy due to the Spring Breakers. But, if you’re not in a rush and enjoy people watching, it’s not so bad. Disney is currently running a 30% /15% resort discount for the March timeframe.

i have gone frequently in march.
if i keep going back....there's probably a reason:)

weather is iffy, it can be warm or chilly, but rarely hot or cold, which is a plus and weather is always iffy on any trip. low rainfall totals in florida in march

it's not hurricane season- another plus

LATE march is not usually snow season (in most places)- so less chance of being cancelled or delayed from that

crowds are relatively low. more important to me than even the weather. unless it's easter week- but i think it is not this year. i avoid spring break and easter week like the plague! you have to check calendar and stay away from these, but there's usually one or two weeks clear and then it's a great time to go.
highly recommend march, only time i like better is september- more rain but still good weather and the advantage of halloween party and international food and wine festival.

My fiance and I went in March 2009. Very low crowds. But it was also pretty chilly. We wore jeans every day and hoodies for the mornings/evenings. My fiance loved it - not being in the sweltering heat! But I wasn't a huge fan - I come down south to get a tan and swim. But I enjoyed not worring about staying hydrated/sunscreen & such.
