Opinions on a couple things?

I'm planning a trip for Sept 27 or 28 til Oct 8. 2 of us.
Staying at Coronado probably, or maybe Y&B.
First question:
Easier to fly in and arrive at 6pm or so, or 10am?
Second question:
Its 10 or 11 nights, and if its 11 we arent getting in til 6, so what tickets would be worth it? Premium Annual Passes or just Ultimate Park Hoppers? The UPHs look to be about $450 for the 11 nights, while the PAPs are $500 of course ... I can't see us doing anything the first night, maybe Pleasure island, but thats about it.
Final question:
Best place to rent cars from at MCO?

Ok one more question on the annual passes ... if get a voucher at the disney store, will that be enough on check in to get the AP rate? Or will it need to be activated? Not that its THAT big of deal since I am planning on activating it that day anyway ... or can AP vouchers be activated at the check in?

I think I've read that an AP voucher is not enough. Will you be renting a car? What I did was go to the TTC first and activate my AP, then went to my resort. Doesn't work very well late at night though. The APs can only be activated at the parks and DTD, not at the resorts' Guest Services.

Hopefully the voucher will be enough ... otherwise I'll just go activate it and come back ... I can't imagine Disney inconvienencing a guest like that though.

As far as staying at a different hotel for a night ... $79 for the AP rate is fine... saving what .. $30? Who cares ... I spend more on churros.

The best thing would probably be to just ask when you call to change your rate to the AP rate about getting it validated. That way they can tell you what to do about that. Also, if you have to validate it in advance, try it a Downtown Disney. I saw that you can do it there (I think) and if so, that would probably be more convenient than doing it at the TTC.

Also, with the hotel, if you go ahead and decide to go straight to Disney, it may be more convenient. It all comes down to a choice between saving a little $$ and having the convenience of already being there. On my next trip, we don't arrive until like 6:45 pm and we're going ahead and checking into CBR that night. That way we can hang by their pool and not have to deal with trying to switch hotels and stuff. Plus, IMO, Disney's hotels are just better than others and at this point, I have a hard time staying elsewhere because I've gotten used to Disney resorts.
