Only I Would Think of This

During a 10 day holiday I have used the Sports facilities and I hated it. Do not get me wrong I am still a student and use communal laundry on campus but for some reason washing clothes at disney just gives me a headache. Now I just pack for the length of stay plus 2.

My laundry was at All Star Sports too and I had not planned on washing, It's just that I went through more clothes than I thought I would. Did they have hot water when you were there? It is a depressing facility in a place that is otherwise spotless.

This is why we paid extra for a Villa, just to have a washer & dryer in the room. Well worth it for us to not have to worry about needing quarters or finding out that they are broken.

I do not think it is as bad as people make it out to seem. It can be crowded though. If you have to wash you have to wash. I always travel with the mindset that accidents happen so its best to be prepared

Are you saying that instead of adding another washing machine or two they've instead created this incredibly complex scheduling system to force you to plan your laundry schedule 6 months in advance? Surely such a system would be folly
Now that it's been discussed here, you've given them the idea....

Wouldn't it be great if Disney could set it up so that you could use your MagicBands in the laundry facilities? I hate having to always save my quarters or get them in the resort store to do laundry ... Just saying!!
When my DSs were younger, summer camp always ended two weeks before school started, so we'd go down to WDW the last two weeks of August with a week's worth of clothes, take a break around day 6. The DH and DSs would sleep in and then swim while I'd get the laundry done. Then we'd hit DTD in the afternoon for a late lunch and shopping. By not "over packing" this also allowed room in the suitcases for souvenirs. In 14 days, we'd do 5 days in the park and 3 days in the water parks, so a break was needed every now and then, especially since we always did early entry and late nights. Gotta say my DSs were troopers.

When they set up game rooms and vending machines for magic bands, you bet that will happen!
