I am still concerned... I still want to know what exactly happened and who is responsible of it. I am just waiting to hear something else, I don´t have to post it. From now on, I´ll be a lot more careful about what I say in the forums, that´s all I can do. :animwink:

It doesn't help matters any to speculate and discuss this issue every day of our lives. The matter is being investigated, and I have full assurance that the people involved will be found.

And if not, it should prove as a lesson for all of us to be a bit more careful in the future. We can't live scared....and that's all discussing this every day would do.

well, from what I do know it isn't a problem that I can see happening to anyone else here on the boards if you just follow steves common sense rules of how to protect your identity. In todays society, with all the databases that store information , we are all cataloged from the day were born, get our drivers lincence, apply for credit, buy a house, to our final rest, of who, where, and when. A computer somewhere has our information somewhere, Most of us can be assured that were safe if you use the common sense rules anywhere in our daily lives. But with the pervasiveness of the internet it makes it even more important to have some sense of control of your information by just being careful of what information we give out to people we dont know about ourselfs on any internet site. we may think it benigne at the time but if we use some common sense in this kind of matter you CAN protect yourself from mischivious people that would use the information for illegal purposes.

So the saying goes CYA cover your @$$

DON"T GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO ANYONE YOU DONT KNOW, AND ALWAYS QUESTION IF IT IS NECESSARY TO DEVULDGE THAT INFORMATION YOU DEEM TO BE OF A PERSONAL NATURE TO IDENTIFY YOURSELF OR YOU STATUS.

I hear you - I'm just wondering if it's anyone that I ever even spoke to.

I've met some really nice people on this board .... one that made me an avatar 'cause I didn't know how to make one, another that hooked me up with a Magical Moments pin, and some really wonderful girl-pals! Oh, and the one that made me feel included when I arrived! (Hi Tramp! )

And jshrab....my f & w buddy - just because you're you!

I really hate to think that I need to be afraid of anyone on this wonderful board....

I agree with your statement. I would also like to point out that I was the one who had the trouble. After rereading my past post, I can tell you that I've given out alot less info than alot of other people on this board.

So please be careful what you post. It only takes a little info for someone to cause you problems if they really want to.

Windows Auto Log ????

I have recently found out from someone that Windows logs everything you ever do on your computer all the time onto the hard drive, even when you delete stuff. My computer is really lagging up atm. and i was wondering if anyone knew how to delete it as i want to speed my computer up. Send me a messgae or reply below if you now how, thaks alot!
