Online Check in?

Hello all!

I am 59 days out and I really would like to do this online check in thing BUT I am worried because I made my reservation through a cast member friend of mine and they are going to have to fax over their ID before we get there. Will online check in mess this up? Should I not do online check in? I have no idea, I have never done any of this before! All help is appreciated!!!

As long as they fax over there ID, I see no issue.

Why take the risk? You do not gain a lot by doing the online check in. I would much rather be sure of getting the discount.

Hi Amy!

I have a friend who is a CM who was kind enough to let us use their discount last year. I did online check in way before they went to our resort to show their ID, and we had absolutely no problems. They only remove the discount if your CM friend fails to show their ID to the resort before you actually physically check in. So you shouldn't have any problems.

My only motivation for trying to do Online check in is because of the Magicbands. I just don't want to mess anything up! Hmmm....

My daughter in law is a cast member and she has booked rooms for us a lot. I always do on line check in and its never a problem!

I haven't done online check in, and I was able to customise my magic bands today My trip is 47 days away.
