Okay peeps, 60 days to go until my arrival at WDW again. I tried the online check-in and it's still saying I need to be within 60 days. So does this mean day 59 or is the site not working properly?

I will skip the online check in this coming trip since I have specific room numbers to ask for. I know, I know.... neurotic, but that's me. 
We are staying at the All Stars Movies (first time in that resort 
) and I am going to be asking for any other following room (in this order):
0101, 0111
9164, 9154
7132, 7133
8132, 8133
6132, 6133
3154, 3164, 3132, 3133
2101, 2111, 2164, 2154, 2132, 2133
4132, 4133
1132, 1133
Hopefully they can get me one of these rooms and I doubt online check in will be able to accomodate this.

I wouldn't let that stop you from doing online check in. They don't actually assign your room number until the night before. You can always call the resort 48 hours before and request the room number. It will never be guaranteed but you can still do online check in. I think it may benefit you anyway since they will assign the room numbers before you arrive so you would want them to have your request before you just show up at the desk hoping for the best.

I had requested a list of 3 room numbers for my last trip. I did online check in and got my 2nd choice. Though to be honest the online check in line up was longer than the regular line. I don't think it saves as much time as people think sometimes.
This year I didn;t request anything special. I'm staying at CBR and haven't been there since '91 so I don't really know what I should request. Persoanlly I'd rather have away from the main areas and near a quiet pool but not sure if I'm going to bother making that as a request or not.
BTW - with the number of rooms you have I think you'd at least get one of the top ones. Good luck!

Not necessarily. It's intended purpose is to let them know when you are arriving and they will have your check in package ready. It is recommended for people who have been to Disney many times and don't need a thorough explanation on the things in the package or have many questions. You are handed your package and you are on your way. The line is supposed to be quicker although that's not always the case.
