Online check in

We are visiting the first week of August and would like feedback as to the online check in. We are staying at the BC and the staff there is always good and they try to please. Part of the reason for staying at the BC is the oustanding service of the staff so we are a little hesitant to check in online. Comments please.

I won't be doing the on-line check-in precisely because I prefer the interaction with a CM. I'm checking into BC a couple of weeks after you. :wave:

This is really a case of you can go wrong either way. I will be using online check in simply because I am always in a rush on that first day and it will shave off a few minutes but there really is no advantage that I can see to online check in save for the time issue.

We just returned yesterday from Disney but I did use online check in. We had a Grand Gathering at CBR, 3 rooms. Our Check In date was Sunday the 10th, and I am SO glad that we did the online check in. The CM's were very busy and there was a line of at least 10 or so to check in. There was no line for the on line check in. I walked right up to the window, presented my ID to the CM, he pulled my information and packet went over the highlights of the resort, provided a map and then we were on our way. It was a very pleasant experience for me. We still had interaction with the CM, I had a few questions and he was very helpful and patient. I would definitely do the online check in again!

We used it May 4th..

It was one of the longest waits in line to check in we've had in the previous 4 years going to Disney and the 1 time our room wasn't ready for us.

It most likely just a coincidence, so to me it was a wash.

FYI - the CM ran through the entire check in spiel the way they normally do when we check in at arrival, so you'll still have that interaction.

Also - we did get the building we requested at PORS.

been in meetings all day.......thanks for the feedback. I think we will give it a try this time and see how it goes.
