online check in for split parties

Has anyone done the online check in if all of your party is not there at the same time? My DH is driving while I and the girls are flying down. Reservations are in my name, but he will probably be there first.

I'm pretty sure the individuals name that is on the reservation has to be there to check in. But yes, the whole party does not have to be there to check in. My brother showed up hours after us and we had already hit the parks. We left his KTTW card at the front desk for him to pick up!

I would call and have the primary name on file changed to the adult arriving first to make the check-in process easier.
