Online Check-In and Room Requests

A little background before my question, for my upcoming trip in November (5th-14th), I am staying a 3 different Disney resorts, and I have 5 different reservations. I had to split my stay at two resorts, POP and AKL, in order to take advantage of the room only discounts.

So I have 1 reservation for 2 nights at POP, followed by a separate reservation for the next 2 nights at POP.

Then I am at CSR for 3 nights.

Finally 2 nights at AKL (savannah view), each night a separate reservation.

What I would like to do for both the AKL and POP reservations, is to ask if it would be possible to keep the same room for my entire stay. Rather than moving each night.

I would also like to put in a request for a specific Savannah view at AKL.

It's been a few years since I was last at Disney, so I am just wondering how this is done now. Would it be best to call the hotel directly? How far in advance should I make a request?

Thanks!

You will want to call the reservation center and have the requests noted on your reservations. I am still not 100% confident that they make it through via online check in.

Because of the split stay at the same resort I would not do online check in. Go through the regular check in process and let the CM at AKL and Pop know about the split stay. As long as you have booked identical room categories they will most likely keep you in the same room, but you will still have to check in again in the morning.

If you have booked different room categories (eg standard and preferred or Savannah and standard) the chances of you staying in the same room will be greatly reduced.

Thanks for the reply, Master Yoda. I will try calling the reservation center :). Luckily my rooms are all the same category so hopefully they will let me keep the same rooms!
