One Week Of WDW-Suggestions?

My only 2 previous visits to WDW were both 3 day stays, so there wasn't a whole lot of flexibility in how I could divide my time. I will be spending a week at WDW next year, in late Feb-early March. I am expecting to spend 1 day relaxing at the resort, or hanging out at DD. My question is, how would you spend the 6 remaining days, keeping in mind we will be getting park hopper as well.

I'd humbly suggest not taking a full day "off" to spend at the resort or Downtown Disney. Rather, I'd use afternoon breaks and/or early evenings to get that down time in. I personally feel much better rested if I go 80% every day rather than 100% for six days and 0% for one in the middle.

We're animal lovers so we do:

2 Magic Kingdom
1 Epcot
1 Hollywood Studios
1 Animal Kingdom
1 Animal Kingdom hop to Epcot

Actually I find both HS and AK to be 3/4 day parks (depending upon time of year!) using the afternoon(s) to go to DTD or swimming!

I usually do that with HWS. Take a break and then come back for evening fireworks during the summer and 10:30 Fantasmic.

6 days I'd go with....
MK first day always.... all day
EP
DHS
AK with possible hop to MK
EP hop to DHS
MK last day..... all day always
But I"d rather do it with no parkless days. I'd go to DTD in the evening. Utilize PH more when evening EMH are available and instead of a resort day I'd do EP another full day.

If you are staying on property, be sure to check the EMHs when planning your days. If you finish a park such as AK or HS early, you might consider hopping over to MK or Epcot. We like both at night and it is nice to relax and take in the sights and music while not rushing.
