One "vision" of the future for DLR

Over on the sequel thread, TheVisionarySoul posted this mega rumor drop of alleged projects and cancellations that was potentially endorsed by some of our trusted insiders. I wanted to start a thread to focus on the Cali side of these rumors since the other thread is mostly sticking to WDW

These aren't terribly shocking to me, but hopefully this means we'll see the Avengers E ticket come to fruition. Sad to see things like tomorrowland and GE improvements get kicked down the line even further

The EPCOT leak confirmed Coco as an eventual possibility but that doesn't seem to carry over to Pixar Pier like we'd hoped

Sorry to bring this thread back but anyone know the status of the West half of Downtown Disney? It's crazy over two years after its cancelation how they've just left it sitting there with a couple of food trucks. Walking through on my last trip that area was sad. How hard is it to put a restaurant or a store in one of those buildings?

I would disagree. That hotel is an eyesore that is all too Visible from the park. Tear It down and at least replace it with a Victorian style seaside resort hotel that would provide a more fitting backdrop to Paradise Pier.

I do agree that the lot south of the hotel would be ideal for a park expansion.
Grand Floridian west coast...make it happen. I'd actually prefer something polynesian themed but that works far better near real water than it would surrounded by concrete.

The Grand Floridian’s design is based on Hotel del Coronado in San Diego. I think it would be weird to see that design when just an hour and a half or so away sits the real deal. Then again, Disney replicated California landmarks that are down the street.

Not to mention the masterfully realized Primm Valley Resort and Casino sitting on the CA/NV border.
