One Thing

I think the only thing I really would like to do (other than have a significant other with me) is to go to some of the price-y restaurants on property - Jiko, Victoria and Alberts.... every year I think this might be my year to actually experience them, and then I realize, oh, wait, I'm broke and really shouldn't be in Disney at all.

My family always want to try Characters in Flight but I always talk them out of it as I refuse to pay that price for what? ten minutes, if that, in the air

We splurged and did it on our last trip. None of us had ever been in a balloon before. It was fun to do once, but not something we'd do again.

I would love to stay at a Deluxe and eat one time at Cindy's table for the experience. Maybe the next trip when our DD is around 6 we will take her there.

A day at US/IOA. To be fair it's not entirely budget-based. It has a lot to do with the fact that we only go for 8 days and we don't want to use one of those to go to US/IOA when we already feel like we don't get enough time at WDW. Also, my kids are still pretty young (3 and 7) and I'm not sure it'd be worth it to them to go. We also love DME and it would require us to rent a car to go or pay a service to take it - it's just not convenient. When I was a kid, my family went to Orlando for 2 weeks every year and the first 5-6 days we stayed off property and went to SeaWorld, Universal Studios and drove out to the beach. My parents didn't want to do those things once we got to WDW for the same reason I don't want to now -leaving the property takes away from the magic. Once you're in that Disney bubble it's really tough to leave and keep the magic. So, if we did go to US/IOA, I think we'd stay off-site and go before going to WDW property.

Me too! I have always wanted a romantic massage for two. But, not sure if hubby would go for that!:(

A couples massage is really fun to do, but I say do it near home and save your Disney time for the parks! Well, that's us, at least. Perhaps if we could spend more time at Disney, I'd be more open to more relaxing experiences at Disney.
