One or two sinks in Poly room bathrooms?

On some pics, it looks like there's only one sink in the bathroom in the rooms at the Poly, is this correct? (seems really surprising to me)

It depends on the longhouse. We've stayed there twice, both times in Tahiti, and we had double sinks. I'm pretty sure the "newer" longhouses have double sinks (Tahiti, Rapa Nui, and Tokelau) and the rest only have one. Not 100% sure, though.

Yup, depends on the longhouse, dont get one right next to the main ceremonial house, the rooms are smaller. ....and make sure you tell them you want a balcony because some rooms do not have them and are 4 feet shorter.

We love staying in Tahiti......the rooms are slightly larger, have double sinks AND the BIG thing for us is, that we're just a short 2 minute walk to the TTC! :sohappy:

Sure, you sacrifice being close to the Ceremonial House, but you can take the express monorail to the MK or hop right on to Epcot.
Here's a little secret too :zipit:...........most of the "lagoon view" rooms in the Tahiti building are actually "MK view" rooms.

Last October, we had a "lagoon view" that had a DIRECT view of Cindy's Castle, etc......it was BEAUTIFUL!
Because of that experience, my wife will never stay anywhere else! Well......we are staying a night at Ft. Wilderness next month, but then it's off to "Tahiti"! :sohappy:

Yes! Definitely check out Tikiman--his site is fantastic. We stay at the Poly regularly, and last trip had a room in Tahiti one night and then moved to Fiji. The Tahiti room was definitely bigger and every floor had balconies (at least I'm pretty sure they did!). It is a very nice building by the quite pool. We moved to Fiji because it is our personal favorite; however, this is an older building with balconies only on the third floor, patios on the first and nothing on the second. Also, the room was a few feet shorter and I'm fairly sure there was only one sink. On the up side, we paid for "garden view" but overlooked the marina and volcano pool, and if we looked over the side a little we could see the castle! Fantastic!
