One of those music scores that just make your heart melt and your eyes tear up

Without a doubt, it's Golden Dream. Not only do I tear up at Epcot when I hear it, I get emotional even thinking about it! Yesterday, in fact, I was driving out to western Nebraska for work, and just looking out the windows at the beautiful farmland made me instantly think of how great America is, and then that song popped into my head, and I had to stop myself before I got all emotional about it!!

Golden Dreams is one of the ones that gets me too. Even when I'm in the car driving.

Really all the Disney music is fantastic. I have one of the parks soundtrack cd sets bought on a trip to the world, maybe in 2010. Listening to it I am instantly transported to the ride, and can picture which part of it the song is playing during. That music, and trip reports here, help me get my Disney fix between visits

I often listen to the Tomorrowland loop when walking or on the computer and it always takes me back to being there. But, being in the SM queue and hearing the Star Tunnel music....that really gets to me.

Im guilty of doing this whenever I am typing/reading or doing housework or whatever. I often get half way around the parks before I get bored!

Energy, you make the world go round!
I was a music major. I have a huge list.

Throne room - Symphony in the Stars
When You Wish Upon a Star (specifically during wishes and the kiss goodnight)
Zip-A-Dee Doo Dah at the end of Splash Mountain (no tears just excited)
IllumiNations (multiple, right after "thousand circles round the sun")
Spectromagic
(If I was ever able to ride it again) Horizons and Journey into Imagination
Fantasmic (finale)

Does anyone know if there is a version of the song "Golden Dream" that can be used for performance? Is there a version without the vocals that can be used for a live performance?

I wish they had the entire soundtrack to The American Adventure on CD. I have "Golden Dream" and three other tracks that were offered as part of a make your own CD back in the 1990's. But I want more! Not just the songs, but every bit of incidental music!

Cool! I'd love to have the opening song, but I've never found it anywhere. "There's a land cross the ocean, I'm waiting to see..."

Ace of Spades, you heathens....
OMG. I have never heard of the "Motorheads" band before until now. I just had to look it up -- I wasn't even born yet when that album came out. I wonder why they're not popular like Metallica or The Rolling Stones or even KISS or something.

Anyway, @wm49rs is this what you really listen to? Then it is no wonder, why you are *so* angry and grouchy all the time. You need better music, baby.

Now *this* is music. I'm going old school, like I can't believe this song is already ten years old. I feel so old, lol. But, I *love* this song -- it never gets old.

My taste in music has nothing to do with anger levels. Just as yours has nothing to do with your being an employee of TWDC. Looking to get another thread closed, are we?

Our first trip was June 2010 & "What are you Celebrating?" must have been that years theme. Anytime I hear the song "It's the Time of Your Life (Celebrate You)", I get teary-eyed. It played everywhere we were at WDW on that trip, the only family trip we were supposed to have. DH was pixiedusted before the trip was over and promised to take us back! We've been back twice since then & are planning a trip for June 2018.
