Anyone with pics of most recent resort useable mugs?Are they still the red celebrate today mugs?

No, the red ones finished earlier in the year, around March I think. They now have beach/water park scenes
Would these be the "Disney are stealing my money because i paid $15 bucks 1/4 of a century ago and the bus driver said that it would always be free but now they have the cheek and audacity to put microchips in them so i am swindled" variety or just the common ordinary ones :lookaroun:lookaroun:lookaroun

Here ya go...The characters are swimming by the pool...So it looks like a waterpark mug rather than a resort mug IMO

I hate the design of the new mugs. I don't go to WDW to swim in the pool, and that's exactly what these mugs remind me of. They don't resemble a theme park at all.

Hope they change as soon as "Summer" is over. We will be there Labor Day weekend, so we may be on the Cusp of summer/fall. I just really don't like the beach scene!

Specific resort themed mugs would definitely be the ideal. After all, you buy them at your home resort and they are for use at that resort for your length of stay there. Once your stay is over, it becomes a keepsake of that trip/resort. But I imagine it's a cost factor. Mass producing one design for use everywhere for a period of time is probably more cost effective than designing and producing a different design for every resort.

I would typically agree that these are not representative of the entire resort, but I must admit that they were absolutely perfect for me on my last trip. My wife and I "got away" for 4 days to Beach Club and hung out almost exclusively by the pool, no parks without the kids......POOLSIDE at the BEACH CLUB.....the mug is a perfect keepsake for us. I know that we are an extreme minority here.

Mugs look fine to me too. :shrug:
I wouldn't mind hanging at a pool all day long and having these mugs as a souvenir. Besides, I live in northern Europe, so the Florida sunshine, the pools and the daily outdoor swim feature pretty large on my list of things I look most forward to.

Ah, yes.....the resort mugs. I'm still using the large WL mug I got probably over 10 years ago every day. Love it! I need a napkin every time I use it because it leaks all over the place but I can't stand to let it go.
